Secrets. I LOVE being in on fun secrets! A week and a half ago I got a message that went like this, “Soooo would you be available to do an engagement shoot and REALLY soon? btw…..keep it on the dl because it’s not official yet…” Be still my beating heart! An engagement session, and one that we got to plan in secret before anyone else even knew it might be coming?! Count me in!!
Love came fast and unexpected for Reese and Lachele and it looks so good on them. They are just so smitten with each other, and it’s so cute! They are officially engaged and word is out, and we are all just so tickled for these two!
These two just knew how to be themselves in front of the camera. They laughed, they joked, they snuggled, and they were completely perfect. I don’t know that I stopped smiling the entire time I was shooting. It was so much fun!
They were so good to roll with my ideas, even when I told them to go stand in the road quickly. We did a few practice dips before hitting the road to speed things up, but they really didn’t need the practice. They had it down from the start!
Cameron and I recently discovered the Sipp Shoppe downtown and it’s a new obsession. We’d be there every single day if we could! As we were passing by I asked Reece and Lachele if they’d been and they grinned. That was where they had their first date! So I couldn’t pass that up. We beelined inside and got permission to take some photos where these two hit it off for the first time. If you’ve never been to the Sipp Shoppe. You NEED to go. It’s worth making a stop for if your traveling through Winslow. Oh, I’m sitting here dreaming of their White Cow and the Nutella Crepe. Oh my!
I loved that these two trusted me with locations. McHood Park is one of our family favorites and I’ve been wanting to do a session out there from the first time we checked it out. The rocks, plants, and water are all so pretty! Cameron even found a little backway spot for pictures (and in the summer, swimming!) that we love. He would like it known that he was the one that came up with this spot for pictures. And I’m so glad he did!!
Reese picked out the ring himself, and it is absolutely gorgeous with the rose gold and diamonds!! It’s stunning!
Finally the sun set and we were headed back to the car, but not without one final series of pictures atop the hill!
