Out in front of their little house is a fabulous pecan tree. It’s spreading limbs shelter their home providing such coveted Arizona shade (and the perfect spot for a few detail shots)!
After spending the morning with Kory, I loved pulling up to the Gila Valley LDS Temple to find Brad there waiting with a huge smile on his face. He was ready for this, and looked quite smashing! With an afternoon wedding and young landscaping, our options for shade for the First Look was quite limited, so we opted for the gorgeous back walkway where Brad could see his beautiful bride come walking up to him. It was magic!
Would you believe me if I told you her GORGEOUS lace mermaid style dress was less than $200?! She totally scored! It looked absolutely stunning on her!
The flowers at the temple were so perfect, it likes they were there just for them. The colors matched their wedding palette perfectly!
Kory is a true country girl…it wasn’t long into portraits that the heels came off and she skipped happily alongside Brad in her bare feet!
While planning out the photos, I brought up the idea of doing a second portrait session the following week before their Gila reception and was ecstatic when they jumped at the idea! We returned to the fabulous and ginormous Cottonwood tree where we did some of Brad’s senior pictures years ago. It was perfect! Samantha (from the Styled Shoot on the mountain) joined me as my second photographer and together we were able to get some great shots of this gorgeous couple!
Brad and Kory were like royalty that night. As cars passed people honked, cheered, and yelled their congratulations. It was fun to see the joy the whole town took in these two!
