Joseph + Hannah || Albuquerque LDS Temple Wedding

The morning of the wedding, Hannah’s Grandma leaned over and said, “Hannah! It’s you’re special day! Aren’t you excited?!” Hannah quickly responded, “No Grandma, it’s not my special day. It’s OUR special day.” These two were so excited to finally get married that Joseph was literally bouncing on his toes and Hannah was jittery in excited anticipation. They both had countdowns going and could tell you just how much longer until they were finally officially married.

While many of the family were out at a pizza luncheon, Hannah, her sisters, and her mom all worked together at their home to get Hannah ready. It was fun to watch them interact and to see the care that was going into every aspect of the day!

Poor Hannah…after a curling iron accident when she was 5, they really freak her out. But she withstood it and everyone made it through alright! It was fun to watch everyone help get her ready and to talk her through the curling iron nerves.

Joseph’s dad is a beekeeper, so they had some of his honey as the cutest and yummiest favors! I LOVED this idea!

This phone went everywhere Hannah did…she had to know just how much time was left at all times! And it was super cute!

Hannah and Joseph were married in the Albuquerque, NM LDS Temple. As photographers we don’t get to go to the actual ceremony, but we do get to be there when the married couple makes their Temple Exit amid cheers from all the friends and family gathered outside. It’s always fun to get to see reactions and their never-ending smiles!

That moon!! We were all pretty excited about it!

Following portraits we all returned to Hannah’s parent’s home for the reception. It was such an incredibly gorgeous evening! The moon shone through the plastic tent, and the candles gave off such a beautiful glow! Everything about the reception was beautiful, from the decor, to the piano echoing over the grounds, to the temperature, and the families!

Can I just say how much I love this rising trend?! I think the mini-Polaroids are so cute and fun!!

Oh gosh, the food. It smelled amazing, and tasted better than it smelled. Such a yummy dinner that Pelican’s put on!!

Hannah’s Aunt sang the most beautiful song for the couple. It was gorgeous and had everyone entranced!

As things began to wind down, they realized that Joseph and Hannah were trying to sneak off. So while they were up changing, the sisters gathered everyone outside, handed out confetti, and got everyone ready for the official send off. It was fast, it was fun, and it was fabulous!
