Charlie and Rachel | Payson, AZ Engagement Session

If you just saw this first photo and asked to guess where it was, I bet you wouldn’t think Arizona! Ah, I love this state! There’s truly a bit of everything. Rachel wanted somewhere green with trees, and I loved this spot up in Payson, AZ. It was great to get to shoot somewhere new, and I can’t wait for their bridals and wedding, both of which will be new places for me to shoot at and both places have been on my photography bucket list! So I’m extra excited. Fun new locations with a super sweet and fun couple, it’s gold!

Charlie and Rachel are adorable together. Their chemistry is so fun, and so cute. I loved the jokes Charlie made through the whole session, the quiet moments of snuggling up, and the awesome stick fight and goofing off that went on.

These desert bushes sure are designed to catch hold of anything! We got snagged quite a few times trying to move around!

Oh my gosh you guys, the ring. Charlie searched all over to find the perfect diamond for Rachel. The cut, clarity, and color on this stone are nearly flawless, and it’s beautiful! He even used the ring she had pinned on Pinterest as inspiration for the unique and beautiful flower setting. It’s absolutely stunning!

We learned that apparently I am not so good at placing combs in hair so that they stay in. But luckily Charlie is pretty good at it!

This water was cold! Our feet and legs burned for the first minute, and then went numb. It was all fine and dandy until we went to get out and had to walk across the sand and our skin was extra sensitive! Yikes!

Guys! Look at the baby pinecones Rachel found!! I never knew these existed! They are so tiny and so cute! They picked up a bunch of them to take home to use in the boutonnieres!

Rachel and Charlie, thank you so much for the amazing April Fools afternoon! I LOVED getting to be with you two and to explore the river with you guys. You two make me happy! I can’t wait for the wedding!
