Charlie and Rachel || A Mogollon Rim and Gilbert, AZ LDS Temple Wedding

Two days before their wedding, Charlie and Rachel met me near Payson, AZ for a First Look and bridal session on the Mogollon Rim. The Rim is amazing! Standing on the edge you can see forever!! It doesn’t feel like you’re in Arizona at all!

The light for their session there was magnificent! We wandered around the picnic ground visiting, playing in the wind with the veil, fixing wardrobe malfunctions (hooray for being in the forest with privacy, lol), and soaking in the warmth!

Everything about Rachel and Charlie’s wedding was inspired by things they saw on Pinterest. Her dress was custom made for her based on a Pinterest dress. The decor, the ring, the games, all inspired by Pinterest! They pulled so many amazing ideas into their wedding celebration!

Charlie’s ring is AWESOME!! The main band is titanium, but then the center is strontium aluminate with flecks of meteorite! And IT GLOWS IN THE DARK!!!! How awesome is that?!

The day of their wedding was WINDY! From what I’ve heard from photographers all over the nation, it was generally a windy day from coast to coast! But, even bad wind and dust couldn’t put a damper on their beautiful day! Rachel and Charlie were married in the Gilbert, AZ LDS Temple. I’d been by before, but never had a chance to shoot at this GORGEOUS building. Even with the wind the grounds were spectacular!

Rachel and Charlie’s reception was a gorgeous backyard celebration. My jaw dropped when I drove up. This house is gorgeous! It was so perfect for their sweet reception!

Each cake was it’s own unique flavor! The pink cake was strawberry and cream cheese, the blue ombre cake was chocolate, and the yellow cake was snickerdoodle and creme cheese!! So yummy!!
