From the moment Kristin emailed me, I knew that she and Kurt were “dreamies”. You know, the clients you dream of…the clients that fit your brand and your style and your hopes. These two are fun, laid back, so sweet together, and just so naturally adorable!
They drove all the way up from Tucson for a weekend away in the cool Flagstaff weather. We met up in downtown Flagstaff to wander the fun brick walkways, alleys, and courtyards, and it was the best place ever! I’d been downtown to eat, but never to shoot. It was a blast!!! The atmosphere down there was awesome! We had people stop us to tell Kurt and Kristin how cute they looked and to congratulate them. We had random people cheer and yell out their congrats from across the street, from party bikes, and from cars. It was like the whole downtown was out to celebrate these two and their love, and it was awesome! I couldn’t quit smiling, and it just made these to grin more and snuggle in closer.
You’re not going to believe this once you see the next shot…but Kurt and Kristin said that they don’t dance at all. Look at this perfect form after he spun her around!! They nailed it on the first try! Flagstaff Engagements just make magic apparently, and I love it!
We loved this alleyway that we found. Such a cool wall, some AMAZING smells coming from the Ramen shop and the Hawaiian grill down the lane, and the most fun people and couples that passed us while we worked.
After some time downtown, we headed out to the forest. The first stop had a few sunflowers left over and the most AWESOME and GINORMOUS dandelions. I’d never seen ones that big and couldn’t resist some ring shots!
This may be one of my new all time favorite ring shots! That dandelion was too fun to play with and I LOVE the trillion cut of her ring! Only awesome people wear trillion cuts! (My ring is trillion cut! You don’t see that cut very often!)
After playing in the meadow, we continued further into the forest to finish out their Flagstaff Engagements.
Normally you’d think dust would be a bad thing…but after a few cars went by we had to go play in the road. The dust and the sunset combined to create the most romantic glow!
Kurt and Kristin, I cannot wait to get to see you guys again in January for your wedding! It’s going to be so much fun and so beautiful! You guys are so natural and good together, I loved every minute with you there in Flagstaff. Thanks for driving all the way up and for the awesome evening!
