Family sessions is not a service I advertise much anymore as I’ve moved most of my work to weddings and anniversaries, but I love making room in my schedule for special family sessions. And when your sister asks if you’ll take a quick family shot for them while they are up visiting, the answer is ALWAYS yes!
Diedre and Ethan came up to visit us over Labor Day weekend and we had a great time showing them around Payson, having picnics, eating way too many brownies, and letting the kids all play together. This final day at the Natural Bridge was so much fun! Being a holiday, we got there in the morning while it was pretty clear, but as we started snapping photos the place was filling up FAST! So we grabbed quick shots and started down the trail to go in the bridge before the crowd fully hit.
Erik is my oldest nephew! He’s funny, witty, and tall!! I feel so old that he’s 6 now!!
Sharli is a doll. She has the best hair out of anyone I’ve ever met. When it’s not in these cute braids, it’s wavy, curly, and luscious. And her messy buns are just so cute! She is named after the Norwegian word for love, kjærlighet.
And Miss Maren! She reminds me SO much of Diedre, it’s not even funny. Our mom laughs because two of my sisters and I all have little girls right around the same age and they are all pretty much our mini-me’s. It’s rather funny and vindicating to Mom to watch us go through raising ourselves basically!
And anyone that doesn’t know the story but caught that their last name and our last name are the same? Diedre, my little sister, married Ethan, Cameron’s little brother!
This year Diedre and Ethan celebrate their 10th anniversary…I’m thinking I need to talk to them into some photos to commemorate!
