With refinished bee boxes, beautiful autumn DIY bouquets, the cutest little flower girl, a historic building, and a backyard ceremony, this wedding was bound to be a hit! Mike and Callie were married in a sweet backyard wedding with a reception following at the historic Merryland building in Eden, AZ.
The day was full of special touches, from a handkerchief made by Callie’s Great Grandmother Geneva, to a saved seat for Mike’s Mother, and the throws to the duck hunting passion with the sign in wood ducks! Each part of the day was carefully thought out and made. Callie and her family spent months making every single detail and piece of decor for the wedding and it turned out spectacular!
Every flower girl has to test the spin capabilities of her skirt!!
Kennah was a hoot, and so sweet! She was the perfect flower girl, and I LOVED her final throw of the flowers and dash up the aisle to find her place at the front of the bridesmaid line to be close to her beautiful Momma!
The smiles coming back down the aisle are always the best!! These three are so cute!
I am seriously so in love with these bouquets! Callie did the most amazing job with all of them. Simple, but beautiful!
The reception was held out in Eden at the historic Merryland building! Rebuilt in 1924, this building has seen so many different stories pass through! From high school dances, to town centennials, to quinceaneras, to weddings, Merryland has hosted so many celebrations through the years! It’s always fun to see how people dress it up, and how it’s simple country charm shines through!
Mike and Callie, thank you so much for having me out for your wedding day! You two are such a sweet couple, and Kennah is so lucky to have both of you! I can’t wait to see how you rock married life and for the adventures ahead!
