Ryan and Llisel were one of the first handful of weddings I ever did. When I think back on how little I knew and on the camera I used, I cringe, but they trusted me and I was incredibly proud of the images we produced! Ryan and I grew up together and he likes to remind me that he’s older than me by a month. Aren’t cousins the best?! So when they called and asked if there’d be time for a quick family and sweetheart session since we’d be in the same town for Thanksgiving I couldn’t say no!
Ryan and Llisel have been dear friends all through our marriage. From dinners at Fort Bowie, to walking Nogales with them, back to the good ol’ Thatcher days as college students, we have had a blast together and miss living close!
Across the street from where Ryan grew up is our grandparent’s house with the small pecan orchard in back. Not only did we find a spot with beautiful glowing light, but it was neat to shoot in a spot where we played growing up and where we have so many memories.
Little Evy is adorable and has the most beautiful soulful eyes! She wasn’t sure about me most of the time, but luckily she had her “Ele” with her. And check out those curls!!! Such a beautiful head of natural and perfect ringlets. It’s amazing! She’s amazing!
Isn’t Llisel GORGEOUS?! Holy cow. That woman looks like a million bucks always, and is even more sweet than she is beautiful!
Ryan and Llisel, it was SO good to see you guys for a little bit! I wish we didn’t live so far apart. We keep our fingers crossed that someday maybe we will all get to live close again (come move here and teach!!). Can’t wait to for next time!
