Kurt and Kristin’s Safford City Hall Annex Wedding

If I had to pick two words to sum up Kurt and Kristin’s wedding it would be Fun and Heartfelt. Everything went off without a hitch, and the entire day was amazing! Although they live in Tucson, Kurt and Kristin grew up in the Gila Valley and returned home for their wedding. It was full of friends, laughter, sentimental touches, and beautiful details!!

To keep their details organized, Kristin and Kurt used his Great-Grandmother’s box to store things in. We couldn’t leave that sweet heirloom out of photos!

Kurt and Kristin have matching bracelets that they wore for the wedding! It was so cute!

Poesy Floral Studio knocked it out of the ballpark with all the florals for the day. Aren’t these handwritten name tags such a fun detail?!

These guys had a blast all day. From what I was told they were up until 3am the night before just hanging out and having a grand time. They kept the fun level’s high all day and were so supportive of Kurt and Kristin through it all.

For the First Look, Kristin and Kurt wanted to do things a little different, and I was all aboard! Their cute balloon first look was sweet and fun!

And oh, southern AZ. I LOVE you in January!!! This felt more like a fall wedding than a winter wedding. It was AMAZING!! And the campus at Eastern Arizona College never disappoints with it’s fun nooks, trees, and year round green lawns.

Oh her dress!! Those chiffon layers made it SO fun to play with movement shots. It was such a dream to shoot and she looked STUNNING!!!

Kurt and Kristin wrote each other letters through their friendship and dating years, so I thought it was such a touching moment when these two sweethearts exchanged letters to read. They were so sweet and it was such a tender moment.

We were so excited when the clouds rolled in and we were able to go get some shots at the big windows at the Administration Building facing the mountain. I’ve been dying to do pictures like these for years!

The ceremony was held at old Odd Fellows building, now the Safford City Hall Annex. The coral stonework, steps, and details on the building make it standout downtown, and it was the perfect location for their sweet ceremony.

From the beautiful sermon that Kurt wrote for his sister to read in the ceremony, to the surprise dream wedding band for Kristin, to their perfect first kiss, the ceremony was so beautiful!!

Finally it was party time!! We all headed to the Fairgrounds where every detail was handmade by Kristin, her family, and friends. Such fun DIY details!

Pinky swearing they wouldn’t smash the cake in each other’s faces…little did Kurt know she was crossing her fingers behind her back, bahahaha!

Kurt and Kristin, THANK YOU!! Your wedding was such an amazing celebration of love, friendship, support, and family. I loved being there with you through the day and to watch the day unfold. Everything was beautiful and so much fun! Thank you for inviting me into your lives and into this amazing day. You guys are awesome!!
