On Thursday I had the sweetest privilege of getting to meet Brett and Natalie for their Bridal Session just a few days before their Tucson LDS Temple Wedding. The combination of the gorgeous light, no timeline, and a beautiful and incredibly sweet couple led to an amazing evening together full of laughs and tender moments.
With it’s architectural throw to San Xavier and the impeccable xeriscape landscaping, the Tucson LDS Temple has been high on my list of dream places to shoot for a while. We spent two years in Tucson while attending the UofA, and this town has always held a special place in our hearts! It’s always fun to get to come back for a Tucson wedding.
These two teachers are an amazing pair and were immediately at ease in front of the camera. They were so happy, snuggly, fun, and totally up for a great kissing picture!
Natalie wore the beautiful lace veil her late mother made in the 70’s for her own wedding. It was the sweetest remembrance of her Mom and such a beautiful touch. Paired with it was the beautiful blue blown glass beed that from Murano, the island off the coast of Venice, that Natalie got in Italy this past semester. It was just gorgeous!
Following the portrait time at the temple we went out to the Pima Canyon Trailhead for some gorgeous desert sunset photos. Between the bridge, the mountains, the sky, the golden light, and the cactus, it was a dream location!
Brett and Natalie, it was such a joy to get to work with you. I grinned the entire 3 hours home and feel so grateful to have connected with you two. You both bring such amazing energy and passion into the world and together you two are such a powerhouse of goodness, drive, and love. It was truly an honor to get to catch a small peak at that and to create these memories and portraits with you. I hope you have an amazing honeymoon and an even more amazing marriage and life. I truly can’t wait to see where you guys go together!
